Frequently asked questions
There is a simple and easy way to be kept up-to-date, with on-going training opportunities. It only takes a couple of minutes to implement and once done, does not need to be re-visited, unless responsibility or interests change.
Within your user account click into ‘My Developments’. Go into ‘update your user profile’ and select the ‘Subjects’ and / or ‘Event Audience’ groups that are of interest to you. At the bottom of page ensure that the box ‘Active event alerts by email’ is ticked and click on the submit button.
When new events are added to CPD online in your areas of interest, you will be notified by email.
CPD Leader Reports:
A number of reports are available to CPD leaders to help them track and manage the CPD requests and attendance of their colleagues. These can be found within the ‘My Developments’ area of the website.
· Making bookings for colleagues as a CPD Leader
· Monitoring event bookings and the status
· Event Attendance History – gives details of training attended by your school/setting
· Financial Event Report – shows training events attended and the financial charges
Create New User Accounts:
When a new member of staff starts at your school/setting CPD leaders can create a new user account for them.
To do this go to the homepage of Wiltshire CPD Online. Underneath the log-in boxes there are two links. Please click on the bottom link entitled ‘New User’. Complete the fields for the new member of staff. If possible use an individual email address rather than the generic school one. When creating the username and password, please ensure that you pass them to the new member of staff so that they are able to access the website.
You can also add a new user when booking an event for a colleague by selecting ‘new participant and completing the fields for the new member of staff.
Have staff left your school:
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to ask for them to be removed from your school on CPD online.
